Racers may also have the opportunity to compete in one or two away races with other Southern Ontario Division (SOD) clubs.
To participate in the program, athletes must be able to ski all runs at Batawa Ski Hill in control and demonstrate the ability to stop safely on all terrain. New athletes joining the race club will be evaluated by coaches at the beginning of the season, starting with Christmas Camp, to ensure they meet the minimum skiing requirements for the program.
